Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Provok (the “Service”), operated by [Your registered business name] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (18 to purchase credits, or have a parent's consent).
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. One person, one account.
• We may require email verification before you can debate, vote or pay.

2. Debates and content

• You keep ownership of what you write or say. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, transcribe, analyse, clip and share your debate content in connection with the Service, including on social media for promotion.
• Debates are public by default. Video debates are recorded and may be transcribed and clipped.
• Argue ideas, not people. Harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, doxxing, spam, impersonation and attempts to manipulate the AI judge or other AI systems (“prompt injection”) are prohibited. Repeated attempts lead to restrictions or bans.
• Some topics (currently politics, religion and caste) are not allowed.

3. AI features

AI debaters and the AI judge are automated and can be wrong. Verdicts, scores and fact-checks are opinions generated by software for entertainment and learning; they are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice and are not statements of fact by us.

4. Votes, ratings and fair play

We may weight, discount or remove votes and adjust ratings to counter manipulation (for example multiple accounts, vote brigading or automation).

5. Credits and payments

• Credits are a prepaid, non-transferable licence to use paid AI features. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices are shown in INR inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms. Unused credits on accounts terminated for violations are forfeited.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [City], India have exclusive jurisdiction.
